Located in the scenic rolling hills of western Wisconsin sits Apple Country – Gays Mills. Every year, this small town hosts an epic event, Apple Fest, which includes a 1/4 mile kids run, a 2-mile Run/walk, and a 5-mile run along a beautiful wooded backroad heading out of town.
The Apple Fest Run/Walk course is an impressive dynamic of hills with a few level areas to give you a break! With the Kickapoo on one side of you and fall colors all around, there is no end to the view as you run.
North Crawford National Honor Society- Food4Kids Program
North Crawford Schools represent Gays Mills, Soldiers Grove, and the surrounding area. The National Honor Society runs a program at North Crawford that sends food home to kids with food insecurities. This food is sent home weekly with the students to help support them. Food4Kids is open to any North Crawford student. North Crawford schools currently have a population that sees roughly 60% utilizing free or reduced lunch.
